What We're Looking For
- A composer with experience or interest in creating music for dance, particularly in environments where accessibility matters.
- Someone who can collaborate with performers to integrate visual, spatial, and sensory considerations.
- An ability to adapt compositions so they work well for both trained dancers and audience members with sensory or mobility differences.
Why This Matters
Art and performance should be for everyone. This project aims to set a higher standard for genuine accessibility. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience and participate in the arts, regardless of their abilities or circumstances.

Good music venue in Poole. On this occasion British Lion, with Iron Maiden guitarist Steve Harris, were playing.
The car-park is fairly small, particularly with large tour coaches there. Thanks to a friendly fellow gig-goer, a space was made for my van allowing for room to exit from the lift at the back of my vehicle.
Although access isn't easy, I went through what I later found out was the band dressing room, then outside, where a side door was opened to allow access.
Once inside I managed to work my way to near the front where I had a reasonable view of the band. There is no raised platform, and I suspect it wouldn't really be practical in a venue of this size.
Post gig we were taken back through the place where the band were winding down.
A great gig, really helpful staff. Not the easiest place to get into.
